Aerial Classes

all classes are 60 minutes

Adult Aerial Hammock

Beginner 1- Learn the basics, work on conditioning and start basic transitions, inverting in the fabric and standing in fabric.  

Beginner 2- Comfortable in transitions and inverting. Continued work in strengthening and toning. 

Level 3- The ability to aerial invert unassisted.  Comfortable in cross-back straddles. 

Class Times: levels 1/2 Mondays at 4:30pm, Intermediate 6pm on Monday. Level 2 Thursdays at 6:30pm

Open Practice

Open Practice- Time for individuals to come practice what they have learned in classes.  An instructor will be present for safety reasons but this is not an instructed class.  You may bring your own aerial equipment or use ours. 

 Kids Open Practice- Time for individuals to come practice what they have learned in classes on any apparatus.  An instructor will be present for safety reasons but this is not an instructed class. Restricted to ages 10 and older.  Per Co-Vid Policy- only one parent allowed per child during this time. 

Adult Lyra/Aerial Hoop

Beginner 1- Learn the basics, work on conditioning and start basic transitions, practice entries into the hoop, and work on building up strength. 

Beginner 2- Comfortable in transitions and inverting. Continued work in strengthening and toning. 

Level 3- Intermediate- comfortable on spanset work and aerial inverts. 

Class Times: All levels Monday at 5:40pm Tuesdays at 4pm 

Trapeze 

Trapeze is a solid straight bar connected by two ropes.  In this class we will go over transitions and poses.  Some aerial experience is preferred but not necessary.  

Aerial Rope  

This is taught on a single hanging rope.  Prior aerial experience preferred but not required.  This is a difficult apparatus. 

Acro- Practice handstands, cartwheels, back bends and more! Improve your ground game to benefit your skills in the air!   

Adult Aerial Silks 

Aerial silks differs from hammock as it has two long open fabrics.  Skills taught in this class include climbing, transitions, and strength building.  

Other Classes

Aerial Yoga 

Beginners welcome! Flow through this low height hammock class to  restore, rejuvenate and relax.

Kid Classes

Kids Lyra-Ages 7 and up.  Smaller aerial hoops are used to teach kids basic transitions and poses.  Conditioning is also taught in this class.  

Trapeze- Ages 7 and up.  A trapeze is a straight bar connected by by two ropes.  

Classes- Tuesday at 5pm.  

Teen Aerial Class-  This class is for 13-18 yr olds.  Kids can learn on either silks or lyra in a small class designed for teens.   

Classes- Wed-7-8pm 

Pre-K Tumbling Class - Ages 2-5 tumbling on mats and balance beam.  Class sizes are limited to 7. Must reserve spot in advance. Co-Vid procedures will allow 1 parent per child to stay during class. 

Classes-  

Kids Silks/Hammock Class Ages 7 and up.   Hammock and Silk class designed to build kids strength and control.  Small classes that will focus on conditioning and basic sequences.  Classes: Wednesday at 5pm and Saturdays at 10:30am. 

Flexibility- This class will focus on full body flexibility that will help with aerial, dance, or gymnastics.  Some goals we will stretch for are splits, back arches, and shoulder mobility.  

Hula Hoop- Dive into the flow arts with this learning how to hoop class! Tuesdays at 6pm
